Hospital Manager Heather NightingaleHeather has been a Veterinary Technician at Parkway Veterinary Hospital since 2000, after moving to Massachusetts from Texas, where she began working in the veterinary field in 1995. She has worked at several small and exotic animal hospitals and volunteered at both the Houston Zoo and M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital.

Heather took on the role of Hospital Manager in March, 2018 and is excited to be part of the wonderful management team here at Parkway. She resides in Dedham with her husband, John and two children, Aaron and Sophia.

Veterinary Technician Anne Bergeron Jillson, CVTAnne received a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from the Mount Ida School of Animal Science in 2009 and is a certified veterinary technician here at Parkway Veterinary Hospital. She has been on our team since 2006, and was promoted to Veterinary Technician Supervisor in 2011. Previously, Anne also spent three years working in an animal shelter in southern Massachusetts.

Anne is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, as well as the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She is also a Fear Free Certified Practitioner, and along with several other certified coworkers. Anne constantly works to make visits to Parkway as stress free as possible for every patient. She resides in Dedham with her husband Nick and their three cats - Morgan, Captain, and Nelson.

Veterinary Technician Danielle Lapointe, CVT dog maverickDanielle, one of our certified veterinary technicians, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida School of Animal Science in 2005. Her Canine Rehabilitation Certification is pending from the University of Tennessee. Danielle takes special interest in senior pet wellness and is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.

Danielle helped pilot the Fear Free program here at Parkway Veterinary Hospital and is a Certified Fear Free Practitioner. She is also our Intern Supervisor. Danielle shares her home with her husband and a gregarious Siberian Husky, Maverick. Danielle is also a proud owner of four fabulous felines, Jake, Meeko, Wiski and Evie.

Veterinary Technician Tia, CVTTia came to Parkway Veterinary Hospital after interning with us while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. She became a certified veterinary technician in 2014 and didn't stop there. When she's not working on completing a graduate degree, you can find Tia walking her dog, Ollie or lounging with her two cats, Lucas and Chewy.

 

 

Veterinary Technician Abbie Lesaffre with dog lulu Abbie began interning and volunteering at animal hospitals in high school, working in all aspects such as kennel, daycare, receptionist, and veterinary technician assistant work. She graduated from Mount Ida College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology; she became a certified veterinary technician in August 2013.

Abbie has been with us at Parkway Veterinary Hospital since 2015. She loves to travel, especially to Maine to visit family; she also enjoys music and going to concerts. Abbie lives with her husband, two cats (Dexter and Storm), and three rabbits (Madball, Lyla, and Charlotte).

Veterinary Technician Crystal PantojaCrystal is a certified veterinary technician, earning an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Massasoit Community College in 2017. She is also the Technician Ambassador for Massasoit. Crystal first started her career as a veterinary assistant in 2014 while attending Animal Behavior College and was promoted to veterinary technician in 2016.

In her free time, Crystal volunteers at different events hosted by MSPCA that are held throughout Massachusetts.

Veterinary Technician Emmanuelle Beliard, CVTEmmanuelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emmanuel College. Prior to her position as a certified veterinary technician at Parkway Veterinary Hospital, she worked as a zookeeper at Franklin Park Zoo in Jamaica Plain.

In addition to her technician skills, she excels at arts, crafts, and baking. Emmanuelle lives with her husband, Edwin, a cat named Jelly, and her two beautiful daughters Victoria and Annalise.

Brittany completed an internship here at Parkway Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2010 and did such a great job that we invited her to join our staff in 2011. She graduated from Mount Ida College in 2011 from the Veterinary Technology Program. Brittany's smiling face has been a great addition to the technician team. She has a strong passion for all animals especially cats. Brittany lives in Somerset with her husband and her perfect cat Lily.

Michelle, one of our certified veterinary technicians, graduated Cum Laude from Mount Ida College with a Bachelor of Science in 2016. She is also an adjunct professor at Mount Ida teaching mammalian anatomy. When not working with animals, Michelle can be found playing ice hockey and rooting for her favorite team of all time, the Boston Bruins. She lives in Brookline with her boisterous, deaf Boston Terrier, Sneakers.

Veterinary Technician Ximena Salgado Santamaria dog Ximena graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then attended Becker College studying Veterinary Technology. She has been a technician at Parkway Veterinary Hospital since 2014 and loves being part of the team!

Ximena volunteered for Project Samana, a free spay and neuter clinic in the Dominican Republic, and plans to continue on to graduate school to pursue veterinary social work. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island with her husband, their dog Obi and cats, Sky and Peter.

Client Care Specialist Sandra Wilson Sandra has worked as a client care specialist at Parkway Veterinary Hospital since September of 2013. She loves helping people and seeing the cute dogs and cats come and go. Sandra and her husband welcomed their first baby, a girl, in December 2016.

Being a full time mom and part-time Parkway employee is the perfect combination!

 

Christina Stephens Malloy dog CChristina joined Parkway Veterinary Hospital in 2013 after graduating from Boston University. She is passionate about the human-animal bond and is currently finishing the Masters in Social Work program at Simmons College.

Christina is pursuing a career in veterinary social work in order to help pet owners faced with difficult emotional decisions, and help prevent compassion fatigue within the veterinary community. She lives with her husband, Golden Retriever Argo, and two cats Toby and Banana.

Client Care Specialist Sandie McMullen dogs Sandie is a client care specialist and has been part of the Parkway Veterinary Hospital team since August 2006. She was previously employed at New England Veterinary Oncology Group in Waltham while working toward a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College, which she was awarded in 2004.

Sandie has been married for 10 years to her husband Robert, who received a PhD in Educational Psychology, also from Boston College. In her free time, Sandie likes to play golf, and is also an avid sports fan.

CCS Richele Brandi with dog sammy Richele has worked as a client care specialist at Parkway Veterinary Hospital since October of 2016. She has been in this role at other veterinary hospitals in the past.

Richele likes going to concerts, gardening, going to the beach and vacationing. She lives in Roslindale with her family and her Maltese, Sammy!

 

Maddie is a client care specialist at Parkway Veterinary Hospital. She currently attends a university in Boston and plans to pursue a managerial role in the veterinary field. Maddie lives with her two cats, Mark and Shyl, as well as a hamster named Gigi!

Linda has worked in the veterinary field as a client care specialist for over 15 years. She joined the ParkwayVeterinary Hospital team in April 2011. Linda's experience along with her excellent customer service has been a great addition to the team. Linda resides in Dedham with her husband Bob and their dog, Speck. Her hobbies include hiking, boating and reading.

Nancy came to Parkway in 2003 as a Client Care Specialist with seven years of experience in the pet industry. Starting as a salesperson for Especially For Pets in Newton, Nancy quickly worked her way up to Store Manager. Her communication skills as well as her passion for animals, made the perfect combination for a successful retail store with many loyal patrons.

Dorothy is a client care specialist who came to Parkway Veterinary Hospital in May of 2017. As a hospitality industry professional for many years, Dorothy has excellent customer service skills and with a love of pets, her transition to our team was seamless. Dorothy resides in Lexington with her son Mark, their Bichon Frise Oscar, and two cats Nala and Meep.
