Ilene Segal, DVM Ilene Segal, DVM 

Dr. Ilene Segal is a native of Newton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Newton South High School in 1979. She attended the University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Zoology in 1983, and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Segal attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She is currently serving a two year term as the President of the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, and is a member of the Veterinary Services Team for the State of Massachusetts Animal Response Team which participates in emergency and disaster preparedness.

After working for almost a decade as an associate veterinarian in various local veterinary hospitals, Dr. Segal established Parkway Veterinary Hospital in 1996. Over the years, the positive feedback and expressions of satisfaction which Dr. Segal and her staff have received from their clients have made her work all the more rewarding and worthwhile.

Dr. Segal is a general practitioner with professional interests in acupuncture and canine rehabilitation therapy. She completed an International Veterinary Acupuncture Society course in 2001 and earned the designations of Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of Tennessee, as well as Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner from the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. Dr.Segal is a visiting instructor at the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester MA for their Canine Massage curriculum. She is also accredited by the USDA which enables the hospital to issue international health certificates for travel.

Aside from her veterinary profession, Dr. Segal maintains active membership in local organizations such as the West Roxbury Business Association, and sponsors Parkway Little League and Pop Warner Football teams.

Ballroom dancing, hiking, and knitting are some of Dr. Segal's hobbies. She is the proud owner of a handsome and generally well-behaved Dalmatian,Tyco.


Jennifer Lysz, DVMJennifer Lysz, DVM

Dr. Lysz completed her undergraduate degree in 2000 at Tufts University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Lysz attended North Carolina State University of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

Dr. Lysz is a firm believer in importance of client education and fostering a strong relationship with her patients and clients. Dr. Lysz special interests include internal medicine and preventative care. 

When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Lysz enjoys traveling, live music, yoga and hiking. She has 3 dogs - Maggie, a Catahoula mix, Sydney, an Australian Cattle Dog mix, and Eli, a Border Collie mix - all are shelter rescues.


Jenna Breslin, DVMJenna Breslin, DVM

Dr. Breslin joined the Parkway team in October 2014 . She attended Lafayette College - where she studied Biology and received her Bachelor of Science in 2006. She then went on to graduate from veterinary school in the spring of 2010 at the University of Illinois, where she developed a professional interest in dermatology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Personal interests include horseback riding, live music, and cooking. She enjoys the company of her terriers, Bella and Brody, and of course her husband, Justin, and son, Connor.

Dr. David TubmanDavid Tubman,DVM

Please welcome Dr. David Tubman to the Parkway Team ! Dr. Tubman is from Framingham MA . He studied Molecular Biology at Michigan University and holds a Masters Degree in public health from Harvard. He graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and then completed an internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialist. 

His professional areas of interest include wellness and preventative care, dermatology and internal medicine.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. They share their home with two dogs Cooper a shelter rescue and LuLu the Bichon - along with their spunky fuzzy feline named , Mike. You will find Dave hitting the slopes during the winter time , and kicking a soccer ball during the summer. Welcome to the team Dave, we are thrilled you joined us!
